"Another C," he muttered, eyes set on his math homework, as if hoping that glaring would make it shift into something understandable.
It didn't.
He'd scraped something together, but this was really going to be a 'C'; he hated to admit it to himself, but he was rather disappointed and what was worse, he knew his mom and dad were, too.
His grades were rapidly plummeting down, and he lacked the time (not the will. Never the will) to get them back up.
Danny hated it the unwavering ghost attacks, the demands from his teacher and his parents (and at times his friends, too, but he didn't like to touch that subject)
